CodeMate Pro for finalists

Six winning teams across the Bengaluru and Delhi grand finales became eligible for Pre-Placement Interview opportunities, with every winning team member offered three months of CodeMate Pro.

Helping teams turn ideas into working applications

Students used CodeMate AI as an AI development partner during the hackathon, from coding and debugging through testing and refinement. The platform helped teams build and iterate on real-world projects under the constraints of a time-bound program.

CodeMate AI joined Decode SIH 2026 as the AI Development Partner. OSCode provided the program structure, problem statements, student community, mentorship journey, and grand finales, placing professional AI-assisted development tools inside a guided path from research and validation to prototype development and final presentation.

Making career opportunities part of the reward

The primary reward was a pathway to a potential Pre-Placement Interview. At each grand-finale venue, the winning team in each of the three flagship tracks was offered PPI opportunities. Across Bengaluru and Delhi, this made six winning teams eligible, with the opportunity extended to every contributing team member.

For participants, the offering connected strong technical work with a tangible next step beyond the event. For program organizers, it created a higher-value incentive: recognition that could lead to direct career consideration.

Extending product access from build to recognition

The career opportunity was supported by a two-level CodeMate Pro access structure. Every shortlisted or finalist team was offered 15 days of CodeMate Pro during the build journey, while every member of the six winning teams was offered three months of CodeMate Pro.

These benefits were offered at the individual team-member level, ensuring that the complete team—not only a representative or team lead—received the relevant product access and career opportunity.

A structured journey from problem to presentation

Teams of three to six moved through a problem-led journey: defining and researching a real-world problem, validating a proposed solution and architecture, receiving live mentorship and a mid-program review, refining a working prototype, and presenting the final solution at an offline grand finale.

The partnership made rewards relevant at three moments in the participant journey: while teams were building, when winners were recognized, and after the program when career opportunities became possible.

What comes next

The documented outcome is the opportunity created: shortlisted participants were offered premium development access, while six winning teams became eligible for extended CodeMate Pro access and a potential route into CodeMate AI’s hiring process.

Product activation, interviews completed, jobs secured, and projects deployed have not yet been confirmed. Future programs can strengthen the evidence by measuring Pro activation and usage, participant satisfaction, PPI participation, interview progression, and longer-term learning or hiring outcomes—with participant consent and appropriate privacy safeguards.
