**CODENITE HACKATHON 2026 **is a two-round national-level hackathon organized by the ACM Student Chapter, MITS-DU, designed to bring together students, developers, and innovators who are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and building impactful solutions.

The hackathon follows a two-stage selection and development process, giving participants the opportunity to first present their ideas and then turn the shortlisted concepts into functional prototypes.

• Round 1 – PPT Submission: Participants will begin by submitting a PPT presenting their proposed solution. The presentation should communicate the problem being addressed, the proposed idea, approach, technologies to be used, and the potential impact of the solution. This round will allow teams to showcase their understanding of the problem and the innovation behind their idea. Based on the submissions, selected teams will qualify for the offline finale.

• Round 2 – Offline Finale: Shortlisted teams will advance to the 12-hour offline finale at MITS-DU, Gwalior. During this round, participants will work intensively on their ideas, develop their solutions, build functional prototypes, and demonstrate their implementation. Teams will have the opportunity to collaborate, experiment with technologies, and transform their concepts into working solutions.

CODENITE is more than just a competition—it is a platform to build, collaborate, innovate, and turn ideas into real-world impact. Participants can showcase their technical skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork while interacting with fellow developers and innovators.

Gemini Integration — Mandatory

Google Gemini integration is mandatory across all tracks of CODENITE HACKATHON 2026.

Every team must meaningfully use Gemini as part of their solution. Teams are encouraged to explore capabilities such as Generative AI, multimodal understanding, AI-powered recommendations, conversational interfaces, document understanding, image analysis, AI agents, automation, or other relevant Gemini capabilities depending on their chosen problem statement.
